This is the kind of picture that I imagine a Flight Attendant viewing and asking, "Was this plane in some kind of fender bender? I hope they have insurance!"
It sort of looks like this shot was taken on the ramp. Let's just hope the the HMFWIC (Big "C") Captain did not see his panel in this state. The potential for a new problem, when shoving it all back together is beyond belief. I know that you test well after closing something like this, but can you or do you test everything? Ouch?

ReplyDeleteYeah, I think most people do not realize the extent to which these planes are torn apart each and every night to facilitate maint.
